100 Days in Office: SAs in Oyo East Lauds Hon Oluokun’s Monumental Achievements, Extols Senator Monsurat
The Oyo East Special Assistants has lauded Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, the Executive chairman of Oyo East Local Government on his monumental achievements in 100 days in office.
According to them, the chairman did the electorate proud by delivering on electioneering promises.
His first 100 days in office has been considered to be a significant benchmark to measure early success; milestones and the future ahead. He has made an impressive start in his first 100 days with early actions that makes a difference on key developmental issues.
Hon Oluokun’s accomplishments during the first 100 days including Convening of the first-ever strategic security stakeholders dialogue leading to the synergy of all security agencies network.
Resuscitation of Marapco generating plant that has been abandoned for years due to its dilapidated conditions.This was done for the purpose of improving electricity supply and to supply electricity to the entire secretariat complex unlike before.
The settlement of outstanding debts owed IBEDC by the council for many years – leading to restoration of electricity to the Local Government council
Furthermore, they applauded the chairman for the repair of earth moving equipments (excavator, grader, bulldozer and low bed).
In addition, the distribution of palliative to the appropriate quarters and attendance of the chairman to some educational programs is another benchmark achievements. They prayed for the hitch free tenure for the chairman.
