2023: PDP Leader, Daniel Ajuwon, Donates Campaign Office, Branded Vehicles To Makinde (Videos)
A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ibadan North local government, Engineer Daniel Ajuwon has donated a magnificent edifice, first of it kind in the state as a campaign office to the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governor Seyi Makinde.
Ajuwon, a full-time member of Oyo State Housing Corporation also donated campaign vehicles for the re-election of the governor in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

While unveiling the gigantic campaign ediffice which was named ‘PDP Leaders’ House’, three campaign vehicles, the party leader who is popularly and politically known as ‘Ajuwon Loodu’ said that the time has come for every patriotic Oyo citizens and residents to be part of the on-going efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde to key into the Roadmap For Sustainable Development 2023-2027.
The fully furnished campaign office which has different rooms for different groups is well equipped with modern furniture, standard generator, entertainment section, toilet facilities, refrigerator among others has been described as the best any party member or an appointee of Governor Seyi Makinde has ever done in the political history of Oyo State.
His words: “Without sounding immodest, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and his deputy, His Excellency, Barrister Bayo Lawal, are known tested and trusted leaders who have the capacity to consolidate on the sterling and remarkable achievements recorded in the first term which centred around taking the masses from poverty to prosperity.
“These are evident in the prompt and regular payment of workers’ salaries, recruitment of five thousand teachers, recruitment of health and environmental officers, prompt payment of gratuities, renovation of primary health care centres across the state, upgrade of secondary and tertiary health institutions, construction of over five hundred kilometers of road across the zones, transformation of Oyo Housing Corporation, construction of 360 housing units at Ajoda New Town among others.”
“Our leader has performed excellently well in the area of security and expansion of the economy without increasing tax. The people are happy with the governor. He has demonstrated capacity in governance with human face.

“Ibadan North local government gave the PDP over 40,000 votes in 2019, we are ready to redouble that figure in 2023.”
Speaking at the unveiling of the campaign office and three campaign vehicles, the Chairman Oyo State Primary Health Care Board, Hon Abiodun Dada Awoleye who represented the Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, lauded leader Ajuwon saying that he is a man of integrity and political influence since his days in ANNP. He noted that any party he supports always win in Ibadan North local government.
Earlier in his welcome address, the party chairman in Ibadan North local government who doubles as the chairman of Oyo State Management Authority, Prince Seun Moronfolu Adelore Engineer Ajuwon who he described as a man of the people who has contributed in no small measure to the growth, development and unity of the party in the largest council in Oyo State. His words:
“I could remember in 2019, Leader Ajuwon who was a campaign DG then told our Governor then that he should ride on horse and throw his handkerchief in the air by doing so, his victory in 2019 was guaranteed and in truth, our local government gave the governor the highest votes throughout Oyo State.
“Now in 2022 leading into 2023 elections, he has donated this gigantic campaign ediffice and two buses and one Sienna to the success of all our candidates. He has started the journey again and which will be successful for our party again.
“You can see that his, that of his wife and children pictures did not reflect in the campaign vehicles. This is wonderful.
In his goodwill message, the party secretary in Ibadan North local government, Hon Adewunmi Adeagbo extolled the virtues and generosity of Leader Ajuwon who he described as his father noting that he has always priorities the welfare of party members and the downtrodden in Ibadan.
He added that no leader has promoted the Governor’s achievements more at the grassroots in Ibadan North like ‘Ajuwon Lodu’ adding that he has electoral appeal and rich political influence.
Adeagbo concluded by stating that he has transversed the length and breadth of Oyo State saying that he is yet to see someone who has committed his resources and wealth to the party like Leader Ajuwon.
Other dignitaries at the unveiling of the campaign office and campaign vehicles are, Hon Toyin Balogun, SA on Local government and Chieftaincy Matter, Hon Kazeem Adeyinka Bibire, SSA on Diaspora Matter, Hon Fumilayo Arulogun, Sole Administrator of Irepodun LCDA, Hon Dele Ladoja, Hon Hammed Alabanla, Hon Julian Nwachukwu among other dignitaries.
The event could have attracted more top government functionaries and party chieftains but it coincided with the Flag-off of Ibadan to Osogbo road.
