TESCOM: Government Suspends Recruitment Exercise Of Persons Living With Disabilities,To Investigate List
A group of physically challenged persons, under the auspices of Physically Challenged people on Monday, held a protest at the state secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
The group lamented that the recruitment exercise contradicted the decision of Governor Seyi Makinde which promised that persons with disability would make 5% of the total recruitment.
The group said the list released by TESCOM did not accommodate physically challenged people. They alleged that 350 of their members ought to be employed but TESCOM employed 149.
