Makinde’s Aide, Ogedengbe, Mutiu Agboke, Prof Adebunmi, Others Attend 3rd Oyo Youth Summit
The 3rd Oyo state youth Summit organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter recorded about 1500 young attendees. Issues relating to young people, How to secure our desired future via Investment were intensively discussed.
The summit was graced/honoured by amazing persons who are outstanding in their different fields of life.
Prof. Akinola Adebunmi (Faculty of Arts University of Ibadan), Bar Olumuyiwa Makinde, Rev. Idowu Ogedengbe(the Executive Assistant to Gov Seyi Makinde), Bar Mutiu Agboke (The state INEC REC), and a host of many others.
The Keynote speaker( Prof Akinola Odebunmi) mentioned some important points that the government and individuals should uphold for the assured future for young people in the state.
The Panel session which was coordinated by a Journalist from the Splash Fm (Mr Femi Ojo) had the Oyo State Resident Electoral Chairman – Mr Mutiu Agboke , Mrs. Bukola of BAYI (BODE AKINDELE YIELD INITIATIVE) Mr. Opeyemi Adefisoye, Mr Kehinde Odanye (African presidential leadership).
It was an interactive session and impressive one, it also had fallouts discussion about the endsars protests and needs of young people during the process.
The Oyo State INEC REC encouraged young people in the state to ensure they get their Permanent Voters Cards as at when due.
He said the time table will be out across January – February 2021.
Also during the Panel Session, The INEC Rec urged the Governor’s Elder brother (Barrister Muyiwa Makinde) who is one of the awardees to support the council and the youth at large by making sure the State Governor is at the next summit which will be the 4th edition, so we can make our request known to him directly.
The Panelist shared their view and perceptions across, balancing all sectors in opportunities and creating an enabling environment for young people in the state and the country at large.
The session closed by presenting a certificate of participation to the panelist.

The Youth departed with Joy as resolutions of the summit is duely forwarded to the State Government for reactions that’ll better the life of the young people in the State.
