A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State and a member of the caretaker committee in Afijio Local Government Honourable Ayoola Kolawole popularly called Arabambi has urged people to comply with Covid-19 protocols to prevent the spread of Covid -19 pandemic in the State.
Arabambi stated this on Wednesday, during a symbolic presentation of thousands of face shields and hand sanitizers to party members in Afijio Local Government.
The chairmanship aspirant for Afijio Local Government enjoined people of the State to adhere strictly with Covid-19 protocols, like wearing of face shields, hands-washing, observing social distancing and others.
He urged residents to rally round Governor Seyi during this challenging moment. He noted that the issue of Fulani herdsmen, kidnapping and banditry would soon become a thing of the past as the Governor is on top of the situation.
Members of the Peoples Democratic in Afijio however, commended the efforts of Hon Arabambi for his gesture. They added that he is one of the best party members who understand the plights of the less privileged in the council area. They promised to give him the necessary support needed to him the executive chairman of the council area.
