OPINION: Kazeem Adekunle’s Sterling Performance Has Endeared Him to The Grassroot
It’s a new dawn, new era and new hope for the entirety of ‘Oyo state residence’ as many laudable projects are being rolled out by our ever dynamic Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Now we can bid goodbye to the old dilapidated situations of education in the State.
It is a move that gladdens the heart as we witnessed the handing over of 200 modern and standard desks and chairs to schools in Akinyele South LCDA on the 11th of February, 2021,
It is without an iota of doubt that Hon. Kazeem Adekunle who is the Caretaker Chairman of the LCDA is a man filled with empathy and he made known his affection for humanity after he visited some schools where he saw more than ten(10) students packing themselves to sit on just two benches to learn,
Listening to him addressing the attendees of a meeting held recently, attesting to the fact that no student could achieve or acquire the deserved knowledge while learning under that kind of atmosphere proves to me that he understand the rudiments of modern learnings.
I really do hope that this project is efficiently and judiciously managed because as we should know… ‘sustainability is the watch word to every adorable governmental projects’.
Standing beside the headmistress for one of the schools, she added that projects like these need to be listed under capital expenditure of all local government and allow NGO’s, stakeholders and wealthy individuals to participate and partner with the local councils for boosting it thereby reaching the desired populace.
Politics aside, it only takes a courageous leader or political office holder like Kagara as widely known to challenge his fellow Caretaker Chairmen to also come out and do laudable projects like this which will be showing the dividends of democracy and at the same time signaling the importance of GSM 4+4= 8years continuity.
Conclusively, witnessing politicians from different groups that form Akinyele People Democratic Party (PDP) structure to aligned with this distinguished project showed that we are indivisible and not partaking in politics of hatred. It’s a crystal clear signal that the PDP is in the best shape to perform better during the next 2023 general elections.
