Eleka Women Ambassadors, EWA, Seeks Political Participation Of More Women At Grassroots Level

Eleka Women Ambassadors, EWA, a group of young, vibrant and prominent women of Ekiti State chapter of People’s Democratic Party, has urged the women in the state to all go out to the nooks and crannies of the state to sensitize, appeal and mobilize women at the farmstead in Ekiti State to register in the ongoing electronic voter’s registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The group stated that it is the only weapon to have their desired change in the forthcoming governorship election in year 2022.

This was made known in Ado Ekiti, on Tuesday, at a much-attended programme organized in honour of a former deputy governor of the state and gubernatorial candidate hopeful, Prof. Kolapo Eleka.

EWA also appealed to the delegates in the 2022 PDP gubernatorial primary elections to stand firm and not subject themselves to any oath-taking or threat from any group, leaders or any individuals in the State.

It further posited that only God appoints and chooses the right leaders, advocating that Professor Eleka stands the best among the contestants.
