The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Adeojo has commended Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for giving total support to both the players and the management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) which has led to the promotion of the Oluyole Warriors back to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Adeojo added that with the governor’s positive attitude to sports development in Oyo State, the sky will be the beginning of numerous sporting successes for the state’s darling team.
Adeojo who is a chieftain of the PDP said the club’s promotion came as remarkable as it is emotional for anyone who knew the club in its heydays, noting “I sincerely thank the Oyo State Governor for responding speedily to the cries of our people for the return of our darling club.”
He added that the return of 3SC to the professional football league will put Oyo State back on the spotlight in sports and boost the state’s economy, as it will attract more investors, sponsors and development.
