The lawmaker representing Akinyele Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Lekan Abiola has assured the good people of Akinyele Constituency 1 of positive change.
The lawmaker gave the assurance on Thursday when he attended the Peoples Democratic Party meeting at ward 5.
While speaking at the meeting, Hon Abiola express his profound gratitude to the good people of Constituency 1 and particularly the people of ward 5 who delivered a bloc votes for him in the last election.
The lawmaker used the meeting to drum support for the PDP chairmanship candidate, Hon Wole Akinleye and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming local government elections. The statement issued by his media office reads:
“During the meeting, he appreciated party members and leaders and reaffirmed his commitment to the promises he made to the masses during the campaign. He also mentioned that his team has already begun conducting feasibility studies across his constituency. He urged constituents to be patient and assured them that he will deliver and put all his plan into action.
“Hon.Sakiru , the PDP Vice Chairmanship Candidate who came with HON LEKAN also spoke highly of Hon. Lekan Abiola, emphasizing that he is a man of his word and will soon put all his plans into action as stated.
“Hon. Lekan Abiola expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received from the masses of Ward 5 during the house of assembly election.
“He further thanked the masses and assured them that he will work tirelessly to bring positive changes to his Constituency.

He explained the benefits that each local government can derive from having the same party in government. Supporting the PDP candidate will also benefit the constituency as a whole, as everyone will benefit from various sources under the same political platform.
