The State working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Thursday, issued a certificate of return to Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy winner of the party’s chairmanship primary election in Ogbomoso South Local Government.
OOT as he is fondly called is the incumbent Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government area of Oyo State.
Speaking with Goalpoacher news after receiving his certificate of return, the Chairmanship candidate, Hon Timothy dedicated his nomination to the party leaders, stakeholders and promised to consolidate on his achievements in his first term if given the mandate to serve the good people of Ogbomoso South in 2024.
On the prospects of the party winning the forthcoming elections, OOT said PDP is the only organized political party in the state, especially in Ogbomoso zone judging by the last gubernatorial election.
“we’re the only party with the manifesto to address the needs of the people.
” We’re poised to complimenting the Sustainable Development Agenda of His Excellency Governor Seyi and we’ll replicate that at the grassroot.
OOT once again appreciated the leadership and members of PDP in Ogbomoso for trusting him with the party’s chairmanship ticket and promised to carry everyone along.
