The installation of Governor Seyi Makinde as the new Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom by the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo is a manifestation of the popular saying that a goldfish has no hiding place.
The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin said this while rejoicing with Governor Seyi Makinde on his installation as the Jagunmolu of Ondo kingdom.
The Speaker described the conferment as another well deserved honor to a man who has set the pace and blaze the trail in good governance and leadership qualities across the country.
” Hearty felicitations to the people’s Governor for adding another feather to his cap as he was honoured in his late mother’s State, Ondo with the prestigious Jagunmolu title. This is no doubt a further confirmation of your amiability, good nature and benevolence even outside our darling State. It is also a testament of your acceptability by well meaning individuals in the country. ”
Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin noted that the outstanding performance of Governor Seyi Makinde coupled with his people and masses oriented programmes has endeared more people to him.
” This Chieftaincy title is not surprising to many of us because you are a shining star who has continued to illuminate people’s paths irrespective of lineage or affiliation of any kind.
