    The Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Barrister Seun Ashamu attended a roundtable on Sub-National Electricity.

    The theme of the event was ‘The Electricity Act 2023: Implications For State Electricity Markets’.


    According to the Honourable Commissioner, he said,

    “I recently represented Oyo State at a Roundtable on Sub-National Electricity, themed ‘The Electricity Act 2023: Implications and Opportunities for State Electricity Markets’.

    Convened by the Nigeria Governor’s Forum and the United Kingdom Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (UKNIAF).

    The roundtable provided an opportunity to showcase the strides made under His Excellency Seyi Makinde’s Omituntun 1.0.

    I highlighted what we have in store for residents of Oyo State in future.
