Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Tuesday inspected the ongoing 110km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road.
“We inspected the East End Wing of the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road being constructed by our administration yesterday.
“We recently secured additional funding from AfreximBank and Access Bank to continue with this project.
“When completed, the Circular Road will create an alternative route for both residents and travellers and reduce traffic congestion within Ibadan.
“The benefits of this project to Oyo State’s economy are enormous as it will open up more areas in Ibadan leading to further development.”
The Governor was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Professor Kehinde Sangodoyin, Personal Assistant to the Governor, Alhaji Akeem Azeez.
