Tommy Urges PMS Taskforce To Ensure Free Flow Of Traffic At Different Parks During Festive Season
In his bid to ensure free flow of traffic around all parks in Ibadan as festive season approaches, the Chairman Oyo State Park Management System, PMS, Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa, Tommy has charged members of the newly inaugurated taskforce to intensify effort at ensuring free flow of traffic at different parks.
Tommy gave the admonition on Monday when he went round some motor parks in the capital city. His words:
“It is the season of love and celebrations. It is that time of the year we experience heavy traffic.
” Friends and families will be embarking on trips across different destinations.
“In order to ensure ease flow of traffic, I went round our dear capital city, Ibadan to ensure the inaugurated PMS Taskforce is effectively working in our parks and roads.
“The taskforce is to ensure our public transporters comply with the Oyo State Traffic rules and regulations and avoid parkings that delay or obstruct traffic flow.”
“While at it, the Ibadan North-East 2 branch of the PMS flouted my mandate of no sales of alcohol around our Parks.
They were fined and further punishments shall be meted out to their excos.
