A former House of Representatives member on the platform of All Progressives Congress, Hon Shina Peller is set to join the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State. Goalpoacher News has exclusively gathered.
Peller was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in 2019.
He represented Kajola/Iwajowa/Iseyin/Itesiwaju Federal Constituency.
Peller left the party in 2022 in the build up to the 2023 general elections where he opted to contest for the Oyo North Senatorial District on the platform of the APC.
He alongside Adebayo Adelabu left the opposition party to Accord as Adelabu contested for the governorship and Peller contested for the Oyo North Senatorial District.
Peller declared support for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Adelabu will return to the All Progressives Congress on Friday, Shina Peller will decamp to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The date for his defection will be announced soon.
