The Vice-chairmanship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Egbeda Local Government, Hon Ibrahim Oladebo Simple has distributed food items to vulnerable households in his constituents.
Simple, who is the leader of Egbeda Legislative Council said the objective of the food distribution was to provide essential items to those in need and to alleviate hunger during and after the celebration of the New Year.
According to him, the initiative was expected to help cushion the effect of the economic hardship on the lives of members of the beneficiary households.
This was also done to compliment the efforts of our leader and principal, Governor Seyi in reaching out to the needy in our various communities.
Aside the various food items distributed, Hon Simple also rolled out cash incentives to the beneficiaries.
