Makinde’s Administration Sets The Pace Again As Oyo Govt Approves Appointment of State, LG Excos For PMS
In a landmark development to ensure that lasting peace is sustained in the transportation sector, the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde which is driven by logic, science and data on Tuesday officially approved list of State and Local Government Executives for the expanded and modern Oyo State Park Management System (PMS).
Governor Seyi Makinde remains the symbol of ‘Good Governance’ not only in the Southwest but Nigeria at large.
Some Governors have initiated the PMS model in their respective states. This further places the Oyo State Governor as the Pacesettin Governor in Nigeria (Ajise bi Oyo laari, Oyo ose bi baba enikan).
Goalpoacher News recalls that the Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa Tommy led State leadership of PMS was on interim arrangement to test their disposition to sustainable peace, orderliness and omoluabi ethos.
Another major player who contributed significantly to the success of PMS is the Governor’s ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro who has continually motivated the PMS officials by presenting exotic cars to members of the State Executives on behalf of his leader, Governor Seyi Makinde.
The third phase of the distribution is expected to come up soon.
The comprehensive list was released by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola.
The appointments were made based on a thorough assessment of merit, experience, behavioral worthiness, and mutual understanding.
