Phontonews: Makinde Signs Executive Order on Handling of Harmful Devices As Gov Visits Ground Zero Scene of Ibadan Explosion

Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Wednesday signed an executive order on the handling and storage of harmful substances in the state.

Goalpoacher news reported the explosion that rocked Adeyi Estate, Bodija, Ibadan few weeks ago.

This online news platform quoted Makinde as stating that the explosion was as a result of the activities of illegal miners who stored explosive devices in a particular residential building at Bodija.

Governor Seyi Makinde after signing the Executive Order proceeded to the scene of explosion to inspect the level of work done at the ground zero scene.

The explosion led to the death of five people, 77 injured and several buildings destroyed.
