Ahead of the local government elections scheduled to hold in April, 2024, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government who is also the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy (OOT) on Tuesday held a meeting with the party’s campaign committee.
The closed-door meeting was held at the council Secretariat, Ogbomoso South.
It was attended by the Vice-chairmanship candidate, the campaign DG and members of the team.
“My team was at the local government meeting in Ogbomoso South.
“I was accompanied by my vice chairmanship candidate, Mrs. Mujidat Kareem, and the campaign working committee.
“The campaign team led by Engr. Amusan Damilare and Hon. Mrs. Toyin Olaniran, we are geared towards victory in the upcoming Local Government Election.
“The committee, comprising dedicated individuals from various wards, will ensure the smooth conduct of the election.
“As former Speaker of America’s House of Representatives, late Tip O’Neill, rightly said, “all politics is local.”
“With the support of the PDP, we are ready to serve our community diligently.”
