eter Olusola Oluokun popularly known as Jagaban was born into the family of Elder Emmanual O. Oluokun(a former PDP party chairman during the administration of Governor Ladoja and Late Governor Adebayo Alao Akala) of Ile Titun, Agboye compound in Oyo East Local Government of Oyo town.
Educational Qualifications
He was enrolled into the primary school at Agboye Baptist Primary school from 1975- 1981.
He however proceeded to the Government Technical College, Oyo where he obtained his Advanced National Technical Certificate NABTEB/ANTC/p in Electrical Installations from 2003 to 2005.
In pursuit of his academic excellence, he gained admission into The polytechnic Ibadan where he obtained his HND in Electrical Engineering with an upper Credit in the year 2008.
Career Path
Hon. Peter Olusola Oluokun started his career with the defunct National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) in the year 2006 as an Officer and retired after 16 years of meritorious service.
After his retirement, he established Sholaybol Conpole and Electrical Engineering Company and was the CEO till his political sojourn.
Political Experience
Hon. Peter Olusola Oluokun popularly known as Jagaban has always been a grassroots politician who has impacted positively the lives of a lot of people in Oyo federal constituency.
His political relevance has been highly visible in oyo east Local Government when he served as a Special Adviser to the Local Government Chairman under the Late Kamorudeen Abiola Shittu Administration from 2007 to 2011.
He was also the State Organising Secretary and State Secretary of ADC in Oyo State before he returned back to the great PDP.
He also served as the Supervisory Councillor for Works at Oyo East Local Government under Omituntun 1.0 before he resigned his appointment to pursue his political ambition.
Due to his contributions to the development of his constituency, Jagaban had received numerous awards from different Political Forum and Developmental Organisations. He is happily married and blessed with children.
The Man, Peter Olusola Oluokun is now by the special grace of God the Oyo East PDP Chairmanship flag bearer in the forthcoming April 27th Local Government election.
