“Reward for Hard Work is More Work” – Tommy Pens Heartfelt Appreciation To Gov Makinde, Otunba Seye, Other Stakeholders
The Chairman Oyo State Park Management System, PMS, Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa popularly known as Tommy has expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde on inuaguration as the substantive leader of the government establishment.
Tommy who is a United Nations Ambassador of Peace equally expressed his gratitude to the Governor’s ally and Balogun Bobajiro of Orile Igbon, Otunba Seye Famojuro for the role he played in the formation of the modern and expanded Park Management System, PMS in the state.
Tommy and others were appointed as interim executives in 2023 in which their activities and performances were reviewed by the Governor through Otunba Seye Famojuro on quarterly basis.
Makinde had given the interim executive members a marching order to embrace sustainable peace and tranquility in all parks across the state which Tommy as the acting chairman adhered to.
On Thursday, the Governor officially inaugurated the PMS officials as the substantive excos.
“I’m grateful to Almighty Allah for counting us worthy to witness my inuaguration as the substantive chairman of Oyo Park Management System, PMS.
“I use this medium to appreciate His Excellency Governor Seyi for the opportunity given to me to serve in this enviable position.
“My appreciation goes to Otunba Seye Famojuro, Balogun Bobajiro of Orile Igbon for his efforts and support towards the transformation of Oyo State Park Management System.
“I thank the traditional institution and other stakeholders for their prayers and support thus far.
“I am thankful and motivated that Governor Seyi Makinde recognized my hard work in sustaining peace over these past months, I will never derail from it.
“In the words of our amiable Governor, The reward for hard work is more work. I will betray the trust you have in me.
“I will continue to demonstrate my capability in my role as the chairman in upholding what this present administration is noted for.”
