The Peoples Democratic Party, Akinyele Local Government Stakeholders, unanimously approved Tuesday, March 5, 2024 for the flag off of the campaign towards the 2024 Local Government Council Elections.
The decision was made today at the party secretariat at Funduk Moniya Ibadan.
The meeting coordinated by the PDP Campaign Coordinator for AKINYELE/LAGELU Federal Constituency, Chief Benedict Akika. In attendance are Akinyele Party Leaders ably led by Engr Akinbola Akinsola, Chief Akin Aderibigbe and the host of others.
Also in attendance were members representing Akinyele State Constituencies in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Government functionaries from Akinyele and Lagelu Local Government, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon Segun Olayiwola, Hon Deacon Kehinde Olatunde, Hon Lekan Abiola, Hon Taoheed Adedigba, Hon Funso Kayode, Hon. Macadof, Hon Abideen Adeaga, Hon Tiamy, Hon Victor Olojede and Hon Ramata Agberemi Deba all graced the event.
Party faithfuls present were ready for the campaign as all stakeholders from the Coordinator, Party Leaders, Government office holders and notable members of party organs donated generously bringing Millions into the Campaign Fund.
Councilors, Supervisory Councillors, Secretary, Assistant Secretaries of the Council, and other party organs all donated generously.
The gesture today will not only encourage but enable party faithfuls to troop out en mass to kickstart the campaign proper all through the nooks and crannies of Akinyele Local Government.
The PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye who also donated on behalf of himself and all the Akinyele LG Candidates in the forthcoming Election appreciated all Leaders and stakeholders present for their supports and also beseeched the Campaign Council to continue in their relentless efforts towards the of the upcoming election.
