Oyo Will Continue to Promote Ease of Doing Business For Investors – Commissioner For Energy

As part of efforts to boost the socioeconomic well-being of residents, the Oyo State Government has promised to continue to provide enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

This was State by the Hon Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Barrister Seun Ashamu.

Ashamu stated this when he inspected GasInvest Ltd’s site in Ilero, Kajola local government area.

According to the Commissioner, “the facility, when fully operational, will provide safe and accessible LPG (cooking gas) to a target 20,000 homes in the Oke Ogun zone of Oyo State.

“The integrated operations have the capacity to refill 500 bottles with LPG each hour and is a strategic component of the Oyo State Gas Master plan and Policy which provides for long term sustainable, affordable and reliable energy supply to Oyo State.

“As a transition fuel, gas is a key component of our net zero carbon targets; and, we will continue to ease the doing of business for green and renewable investments aligned with the State’s sustainable development agenda.”
