… Bags Award of Excellent Performance From Markets’ Leaders
The reelection bid of the Executive Chairman and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ogbomoso South, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, OOT received massive boost on Thursday as leaders of various markets in the council declared their support.
The various leaders of the market clusters unanimously endorsed OOT as their sole candidate for the local government elections.
The leaders equally presented award of excellent performance to Hon Oyedokun.
“Today, in continuation of the ongoing consultation ahead of 27th April, 2024 Local Government elections, the People’s Democratic Party in Ogbomoso South Local Government took their consultation to market men and women, traders and artisans at their association building, Aradada, Ogbomso.
“The campaign team which was led by the DG Engr. Dr. Amusan Damilare had a robust interaction session with the traders.
In his welcome address, the Director General thankef the leadership of the association for their unalloyed support in the last general election and for standing by the governor. Amusan Damilare also used the avenue to solicit for the support of market men and women ahead of the coming LG election.
“While responding to the demand made by the party through the DG, the leaderships of ẹgbẹ́ ỌLỌJA in Ogbomosoland and most especially Ogbomoso South Local Government said PDP in Ogbomoso doesn’t only have a candidate but they have Ọmọlúabi Ponbele. Yes, Hon. Prince Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy OOT has been the best friendly chairman to the association. Yes, OOT is part of us. He has always identified with us.
“Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy OOT is our man, his tremendous contributions among us can’t be swept away. This is why we are presenting him Award of excellence today. Yes, we don’t just give our award, you deserved it because you are always With US.
“The association also declared the unalloyed support for candidacy of OOT/MUJIDAT and all the candidates of PDP in the coming election.”
Why responding, Hon. Prince Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy OOT said:
“I’m overwhelmed with the reception I got here today, like seriously, you really surprised me despite short notice from us. I want to sincerely appreciate you and thank you for the trust and love repose in me.
