    LG Poll: League of Imams and Alfas in Ibarapa Central Endorsed PDP Chairmanship candidate Hon Olusola Adeleke

    The league of Imams and Alfas  have endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chairmanship candidate for Ibarapa Central local government, Hon Olusola Adeleke.

    The endorsement was announced through Alhaji Muhammad Isau Alobalowo who is the Chief Imam of Igboora town during a  meeting with the Islamic scholars facilitated by the Commissioner for Trades, Cooperative and Investment, Hon Ademola Ojo.


    Speaking on behalf of the Imams and Alfas in Igboora, Alhaji Alobalowo explained that Governor Seyi Makinde had done a lot for Muslim Ummah in the state, hence the need to endorse and vote massively for the candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming local government elections.

    In his remarks, Hon Ademola Ojo appreciated the league of Imams and Alfas in Ibarapa Central for always promoting religious tolerance, unity and peaceful co-existence among all residents.

    Ijaya  charged them to mobilise their members and vote for all  PDP candidates in the forthcoming local government elections.

    On his part, Hon Olusola Adeleke popularly known as Solar promised to be fair to all religious groups and bodies in the local government.

    He promised to compliment the Sustainable Development Agenda of Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde in the council of elected as Executive Chairman.
