Seye Famojuro, Akeem Azeez, Wasiu Adeleke, Akin Fagbemi, Bibire, Bose Adedibu, Nureni Akanbi, Others Honour Odidiomo At Father’s Burial
The final rites for the late Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide, father of Honourable Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North West/Southwest Federal constituency, were solemnly observed on Friday in Ibadan.
Alhaji Olajide, aged 87, passed away in the early hours of Friday, leaving behind a legacy of love and care.
Honourable Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide, who had just returned from Umrah with his wife Alhaji Adenike Shakirat Olajide, expressed his deep sorrow, saying, “My Dad was a true father whose life exemplified compassion and responsibility.
He ensured we received the best care and attention, even as adults. We pray Almighty Allah grants him Aljannah firdaus.”
The burial prayer, led by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik AbdulGaniy Agbotomokekere, was held before the deceased’s body was laid to rest at a mausoleum erected in their house at Asabari area, Anfani Ibadan. Islamic clerics, including Alfa Lamunigun, joined in offering prayers for the departed soul.
The burial ceremony witnessed the presence of notable party stalwarts such as Alhaja Bose Adedibu, Senator Kamorudeen Adedibu, Iba Oluyole Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, Otunba Seye Famojuro, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, Mogaji Adanla Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem, Mogaji Abass Oloko, Mogaji Ademola Oladosu, Alhaji Akeem Azeez, PDP State Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Hon Yemi Taiwo, Hon Kazim Adeyinka Bibire, Comrade Adedamola Adebayo Fryo, Hon Seun Olufade and many others.
Neighbors and well-wishers fondly remembered Baba as a caring and loving father who dedicated his life to God and service to humanity.
