…Visits OYCSDA Chairman, Management Members
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo has said on Tuesday that the State governor is committed to giving succor to the people in rural and urban communities.
She made the remark while on a visit to the Chairman, Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA), Hon. Tokunbo Adeaga in Ibadan.
The meeting which centered upon cooperation among State Ministries, Directorates and Agencies (MDAs) for better operations to meet the target of the government in delivering development at the grassroot, was witnessed by the management of OYCSDA, led by its General Manager, Mr. Jelili Salawu.
Others at the meeting include the Manager and Evaluation, Mr Rotimi Raji, Manager Operations, Mr Olanrewaju Biliaminu and the Manager and Administration, Mr Tunji Ajadi-Oni.
In her words, Agberemi said “the essence of governance is for the good of the people and this is represented in the activities of government agencies like OYCSDA, the local communities have been saying good things about the good works you are doing.
“Various projects in areas of education, environmental protection, community healthcare, psychological support projects among others in the hinterlands and urban areas are testimonies of the good work your agency is doing.
“I charge you to do more and would want you to partner with our Ministry for further support to actualize the goals set up by the government,” she said.
In his response, Hon. Tokunbo Adeaga appreciated the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde and sought the support of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters on various projects in the State.
Hon. Ramata and the OYCSDA Chairman used the occasion to celebrate the agency’s Operations Manager, Mr Biliaminu Olanrewaju on his birthday as a cake was presented by Hon. Agberemi to mark the celebration.
