The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate at Saturday’s chairmanship election in Egbeda local government, Hon Sikiru Sanda Oyedele, has thanked the people of his local government for re-electing him for another three years of office.
Hon Sanda lauded the electorates for their peaceful conduct during the exercise.
The Oyo ALGON Chairman expressed his profound gratitude to His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde for giving all parties level playing field.
Hon Sanda equally extended his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde’s ally and Balogun Bobajiro of Orile Igbon, Otunba Seye Famojuro for his support which has resulted in the progress and development recorded in Egbeda local government since 2019.
He appreciated Co-chairman of Oyo Elders Council, Elder Wole Oyelese, State Working Committee and local government executives of the Peoples Democratic Party and the PDP campaign Committee for the excellent jobs they did.
“Thank you to everyone in our local government for re-electing me to serve you again this challenging time.
“I am deeply humbled by your support, and I want to assure you that I am going to work day and night to make sure that your concerns are heard and addressed.
“Whether or not you voted for me in this election, I want you to know that I am dedicated to serving you. When we work together, not as PDP, APC, Accord or SDP, but as members of one local government, I know that we can accomplish greater things than we achieved in our first term in office.”
