    Proposed Maritime Academy In Ogun Waterside: Hon. Lawee, Community Leaders Visit WECMA Mgt, Inspect Site At Imakun-omi

    The leaders and the good people of Imakun-omi Kingdom were overwhelmed as they received the Distinguished Honourable member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ogun Waterside State Constituency, Hon Lawal Samusideen Adekunle (Lawee) and the Team of Western Coast Maritime Academy (WECMA) to Imakun-omi Kingdom today Monday 29th April, 2024.

    The community leaders on the instruction of Alayeluwa, HRM Oba Kazeem Adesina Salami, Ilufemiloba 1, Osobia of Imakun-omi, led the management team of WECMA to the proposed site allocated for the establishment of the Maritime Academy in Imakun-omi area of Ogun Waterside State Constituency.

    The School management led by the Founder, Capt. Adekunle Azeez Ogunyemi was satisfied with the location of the proposed site as approved by the Kabiyesi.

    Capt. Ogunyemi expressed his profound gratitude to the Kabiyesi Osobia, Hon. Lawal Samusideen Adekunle and the good people of Imakun-omi for embracing the project Proposal.

    He stated further that Ogun Waterside can be developed like other places, if we are ready to embrace development as exemplified by the Kabiyesi Osobia and the very good people of Imakun-omi.

    Hon. Lawal in his statement, congratulated Kabiyesi Oba Osobia and the good people of Imakun-omi, maintaining that the project when completed, will attract more investors to Imakun-omi and Ogun Waterside at large.
