    Football Talents: Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort Set to Organize Mega Scouting Programme For May/June 2024

    As part of its annual activities in the round leather game, the management of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort is set to organize a mega football scouting programme where talented young players will be discovered by foreign football coaches coupled with coaching education by UEFA licence coaches and instructors.

    While speaking at the management meeting on Thursday at the resort, the Chief Operating Officer of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Prince Adesina Araoye hinted that this year scouting session will again, hold at the Ilaji football pitch while the coaching education will take place mini conference hall between May 29 and June 1st.


    Prince Adesina pointed out that testimonies and success stories received aftermath of the last two editions had prompted the management to make this year a very large event.

    He added that while the scouting session is aimed to discover talents and project them to foreign clubs, the coaching clinic is also to add more knowledge to football coaches in Nigeria.

    The annual program which has the endorsement of the Oyo State Football Association will be handled by Billy Mock, a UEFA A Coach who currently serve as Swieqi United FC Technical Director, with over 20 years coaching experience.

    Other facilitators expected in Nigeria from Malta are Pablo Boffo, the Head Coach for Swieqi United Senior Men Team and UEFA A licence Coach and football legend Claude Mattocks, who had won two league titles with over 200 appearances in the Maltese Premier League.
