The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye extends his congratulatory message to the Executive Governor of Oyo State. HE, Engr Seyi Makinde on his fifth anniversary as the Governor of the State.
In a statement personally issued by the Executive Chairman and made available to journalists through his Head of Media and Publicity, Mr Ibrahim Oladimeji ; Hon Akinwole lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for the impactful governance and developmental strides provided to the good people of Oyo State across all sectors.
He said: “Oyo State in the last five years has witnessed an accelerated transformation in terms of ensuring dividends of democracy achieved without causing hardship on the people of Oyo State.”
The Chairman also acknowledged the Governor’s efforts in ensuring that grassroots democracy is respected by being the first in many years to conduct two successive Local Government Elections in the State.
“Under the leadership of my Governor, Oyo has made a tremendous progress in every sector. Education, Health, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Human Development and most importantly the welfare of the workers and pensioners have been revitalized in the last five years under the government of Omituntun.”
Oyo state is now attracting investors globally due to the peaceful and conductive environment the state is currently experiencing. The security architecture in the state is top notch as the Governor’s efforts in harmonizing all major stakeholders in this sector has paid off.
The Executive Chairman used the opportunity to wish the Executive Governor of the State Engr Seyi Makinde more successful years ahead as he keeps driving the state towards prosperity and stability that has been globally and internationally acknowledged as one of the best in history.
