Founder and the President of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, Amofin Beulah Adeoye has extended his felicitations to the Muslim faithfuls across the globe on the celebration of 2024 Eid al-Adha.

Adeoye’s congratulatory message to the Muslim ummah was contained in a statement signed by him and was made available to newsmen on Saturday by his Chief of Staff, Fasasi Ridwan, he admonished Muslims to embrace love, charity, faith, compassion and communal responsibility.

He commended the Muslim community for promoting peaceful coexistence and brotherlines in all the 33 local governments in Oyo State.

Amofin Beulah extended his heartfelt wishes to all Muslims around the world on the occasion of the sacred holiday of Eid al-Adha, known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” commemorates the profound act of faith by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. This holiday is marked by special prayers, the ritual sacrifice of an animal, and the sharing of meat with family, friends, and those in need, symbolizing devotion, charity, and communal unity.

Amofin Beulah Adeoye while speaking said “As Muslims, the essence of this festival is Love, Charity, Faith, Compassion and Communal responsibility. And we should embrace these virtues by prioritizing the welfare of our neighbors and extending our acts of Love”.

Speaking further, he said “Eid al-Adha also marks the culmination of Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, which is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. For those who have performed Hajj, Eid al-Adha is a time of immense spiritual significance, representing the fulfillment of a key religious duty.

“As we extend our warmest wishes to all Muslims celebrating Eid al-Adha, we reflect on the holiday’s universal themes of faith, sacrifice, and compassion. It is a time to come together with loved ones, to share and give, and to strengthen the bonds of community. The spirit of Eid-al-Adha transcends religious boundaries, offering a reminder of the importance of humility, generosity, and gratitude in our daily lives,” he added.
