The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele (Lajue), has felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Ige Iyanda Owolabi Olakulehin I, on his 89th birthday anniversary.
In a statement released by his office, Hon. Oyedele extolled the Olubadan’s years of upholding tradition and leadership, praying that he reigns long on the throne.
The statement read, “Today, we join the good people of Ibadanland in celebrating the life and legacy of our revered monarch, Oba Akinloye Ige Iyanda Owolabi Olakulehin I. Your 89 years have been a blessing to our city, and your wisdom and leadership have guided us thus far.
“We pray that God grants you many more years of wisdom, good health, and strength to continue leading our people. May your reign be long and peaceful, and may your legacy endure forever.

The Olubadan, who is the 43rd monarch to occupy the throne, has been a symbol of unity and tradition in Ibadanland for many years, and his birthday anniversary is celebrated with pomp and pageantry across the city.
