The chairman of Oyo State Hospital Management Board(OYSHMB), Dr Akin Fagbemi has charged the staff of Jericho Specialist Hospital on their attitude towards patients who are coming for one treatment or the other in the hospital.
Dr Fagbemi made this known during an official visit to some of the health facilities in the state,he urged them to always attend to patients with words of encouragement that will reduce the burden of sickness brought to the hospital by those patients.He remind them that their work is a social welfare work to the society.
The head of hospital at the Jericho Specialist Hospital,Dr H.T Ilori appreciate the chairman and his entourage on the visit and therefore assure the chairman that henceforth management of the hospital will not condone any act of indiscipline among the staff.
She also use the medium to congratulate the chairman of the board on his appointment by the executive governor of Oyo state Engr Oluseyi Makinde saying his appointment is a plus to the board being a core scientist.
The visit had in attendance the chairman of the board,Dr Akin Fagbemi,the permanent secretary Dr Anifat Ibrahim, the director of medical services Dr Olufemi Adesanya and the director of hospital administration Mr Olatunde.
