The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode has officially sworn in members of his Executive Cabinet.
This follows after a successful screening by the Legislative Arm of Ibadan South East Local Government led by the leader of the house, Hon. Ayodeji Oladepo at the Legislative Chamber in the council secretariat, Mapo Hill Ibadan.
Hon. Alawode in his welcome and congratulatory address, informed the newly sworn-in Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants that, Ibadan South East Local Government is a very peaceful Local Government and so, they are expected to work hand-in-hand in unity and love, to bring in good tidings, developmental ideas that will promote the council.
Arole omituntun charged them to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and to be loyal to the local government administration. He stressed that oath administered to them is a serious business and urged them to live up to expectation in their respective duties and offices.
In her own remarks, the Head of Local Government Administration for Ibadan South East Local Government, Alhaja Dr Ayobami Monsurat Alaga admonished the newly sworn in Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants to be dedicated to their duty and support the Chairman as he delivers on the mandate given him. She preached for unity and harmonious relationship among them.
In his words of appreciation, one of the newly sworn in Supervisory Councillors, Hon. Saheed Animashaun appreciated the Executive Governor Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for graciously approving their appointments. He then pledged their unwavering support to the Hon. Alawode led administration.
Present at the occasion were the leader of the house, Hon. Ayodeji Oladepo and other Councillors, Party leaders, Baba Tiamiyu Abidikugu, PDP Chairman, Hon. Sulaimon Adesina, Chief of Staff, Hon. Olusegun Oludaye, Hon. Sunday Babatunde, Hon. Temitope Yusuf, Director of Administration and General Services, Alhaja Tawakalitu Olufunke Adedotun and many others.
