In his usual character of lending helping hands to the needy in the society and as it is obtainable in the Yoruba culture to give gifts to new born baby in our society, Dr Akin Fagbemi presented cash gift to Nine (9) new born babies at Ring Road State Hospital, Ibadan.
In his remark, the chairman of Oyo State Hospital Management Board (OYSHMB)Dr Akin Fagbemi said he is doing this as part of contributing to the well being of those babies and as a sign of respect he has for his excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde.
He further said “if the executive governor was here today he would have done more than this but I am doing this in his honour and showing a sign of respect for the people’s governor Engr Oluseyi Makinde (MNSE)”.
The gesture was welcomed by the nurses on duty and the mothers of the new born babies who were happy and rejoice with Dr Fagbemi,they also prayed for him for more blessing from God and protection in his day to day activities
