PDP Leaders in Ibarapa North Vow to Work Together for Victory

 

In an effort to continue strengthening the Ibarapa North Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the stakeholders of the party in the local government area have met to address various challenges facing the party.

The impactful meeting follows a similar one held last week for the Ibarapa Central chapter of the party at the Ibadan residence of the member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, where the stakeholders prioritised the party’s interests.

The meeting, which was also held at the Ibadan residence of Hon. Adepoju, brought together stakeholders of the PDP in Ayete, Tapa and Igangan, the three principal towns comprising Ibarapa North.

The leaders, in their remarks, appreciated His Excellency, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde, for his rare leadership prowess and delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of Oyo State. While passing their vote of confidence on Hon. Adepoju’s transparent representation, the stakeholders thanked the governor for his intervention and promised to continue to work in accord to make the PDP the party to beat at all levels.

In attendance were Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Lateef Lawal Akorede, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North, Hon. Bisi Akande, Executive Vice Chairman of Ibarapa North, Hon. Aborode Majekodunmi, former Commissioner for Environment, Mrs. Funmilayo Orisadeyi, former Commissioner for local government, Hon. Tunde Adegbenjo, former state Honorable member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North, Hon. Okesoto Biliaminu, former Chief of Staff to Ibarapa North Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Ogungbenro, former member, Oyo State Sports Council, Alhaji Ganiyu, former PDP Party Chairman, Alhaji Bilau Kongo, Alhaji Sarafadeen Babarinde, Alhaji Aderogba, party leader and Alhaji Saminu Azeez.
