    Hon. Olusola Adeleke Convenes Crucial Peace and Security Meeting in Ibarapa Central Local Government

    Earlier today 11th September 2024, In a proactive move to strengthen the security architecture within Ibarapa Central Local Government of oyo state, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, convened an important Peace and Security meeting with key stakeholders to address the safety of lives and property in the region.

    The meeting, held at the Local Government NULGE Hall, brought together a diverse group of participants, including Vice Chairman Hon. Babarinde Rasheed, local government administrative heads, and representatives from various security agencies. Among the security operatives in attendance were officials from the Nigeria Police, Immigration, Customs, NDLEA, Agro ranger, Nigeria hunters, Operation Burst, DSS, Amotekun, Vigilante, and the FRSC. The presence of traditional rulers, representatives of the Community Development Council (CDC), religious leaders, community leaders, and other critical stakeholders reinforce the community collective commitment to enhancing security.

    In a statement released to the public by his Personal Assistant, Sodiq Adesina, Hon. Olusola Adeleke expressed his deep appreciation for the tireless efforts of the security operatives in maintaining peace and order within the local government. He urged them not to relent in their duties, emphasizing the importance of their continuous vigilance in safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens.

    “We must remain steadfast in our commitment to protecting our communities,” Hon. Adeleke stated. “The cooperation and dedication of our security agencies are crucial, and I commend their hard work. However, we must all continue to work together to ensure that Ibarapa Central remains a safe and secure environment for everyone.”

    The peace and security meeting served as a platform for discussing the current security challenges facing the local government and exploring strategies for improving coordination and response to potential threats. The collaboration between security agencies, traditional institutions, and community leaders was reaffirmed as a critical component in the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security across Ibarapa Central.
