As eulogies continue to pour in for the former Governor of Oyo State, Oba Senator Rashidi Ladoja as he marks his 80 years birthday, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has described the celebrant as a guiding light for both old and young politicians.
Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin in a congratulatory statement issued in Ibadan said the dedication of Oba Rashidi Ladoja to the development of the State as a former Governor was remarkable and laudable.
He said as a phenomenal and selfless leader, Oba Rashidi Ladoja has left his indelible footprints in the State

May God continue to strengthen Oba Rashidi Ladoja, and preserve his life in good health so that we can continue to benefit from his immense experiences which cut across all spheres of human endeavours. The Speaker said Oba Rashidi Ladoja has continued to demonstrate unique qualities and characteristics which make him a distinguished elder statesman.
” As younger politicians, we have to learn from Oba Rashidi Ladoja’s leadership excellence and tireless efforts in living a lasting impact in the State ” Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin said.
