    Akinyele PDP Leaders Commend Hon Wole Akinleye’s Maturity, Condemn Jamiu Ademola’s Unruly Behaviour

    The Chairman, Akinyele Leader’s Caucus, Engr. Julius Akinsola and other members of the Akinyele PDP leaders’ caucus were unanimous in their condemnation of the assault on the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Ayobami Akinleye by a former Chief of staff to the immediate past Local Government Chairman, Hon Taoreed Adedigba who is also the Current Special Assistant of the Council on Religious Matters, Adeniji Jamiu Ademola.

    In an emergency meeting of the leadership caucus held today at the Party House Funduk Moniya, after listening to various organs of government involved in the matter, including the suspension of  Special Assistant and the leadership of the Legislative House and eye witnesses.


    The event leading to the assault was thoroughly reviewed and upheld that the Executive Chairman had represented the council and the leadership well in all ramifications and thus commended his leadership qualities.

    The suspended Special Assistant admitted culpability and apologized to the leadership of the party and the Executive Chairman as a pointer to the resolution of the matter.

    The leaders warned everyone to be of good behavior as any disrespect to the council head who is the Number 1 citizen is done to the entire people of Akinyele Local Government. Thus, pleaded with the Executive Chairman to continue to demonstrate exemplary leadership and continue his good work in Akinyele Local Government.

    Present at the meeting were the Executive Chairman, Hon Akinwole Akinleye,Leader of the Akinyele Legislative Council, Hon Rafiu Kolawole, Deputy Leader of the House, Hon Fakayode Barakat, Majority Leader of the House, Hon Olayiwola Olalere, Chief Whip, Hon Gazali Quadri, Supervisory Councilors Representative and Special Assistants Representative.

    Also present at the meeting were The Chairman of the Party, represented by the Vice Chairman, the Chairman of all ward Chairmen, party Youth Leader, notable leaders of the party which included Engineer Akinsola, Alhaji Gbolagun, Alhaji Gazali , Oloye Akin Aderibigbe,Alhaji Olaibi Musanto, Alhaji Arowosaye, Chief Odewenwa, Amongst others.

    Hon Lekan Abiola and Hon Olatunde Kehinde representing Akinyele 1 and 2 respectively joined the meeting later.
