Winners Emerge in Saki East, Saki West, ATISBO in Amofin Beulah Adeoye Unity Debate Competition

Winners emerged on Wednesday from Saki East, Saki West and ATISBO local government areas of Oyo State in Amofin Beulah Adeoye Unity Debate Competition.

The debate competition which was organized for secondary school students to bring out the best in them afforded the students to challenge other contestants on the two topics of discourse.

In Saki East Local Government, the competition held at Muslim Grammar School, Ago Amodu. Muftau Hazzan from Muslim Comprehensive Grammar School, Ogbooro came first with 79 points, Oyesola Paul from Community High School, Idi Emi, Sepeteri emerged first runner-up with 68 point and Alatise Ridwan, Muslim Grammar School, Ago Amodu occupied third position with 66 points.

Mr. Mustapha, who represented Principal of Muslim Grammar School, Ago Amodu expressed his gratitude to Beulah Adeoye Foundation and its founder for giving back to society through educative programme.

In Saki West Local Government Area, the event held simultaneously at Ansar-ud-deen High School, Saki, Adeyefa Juliet from Baptist High School, emerged first with 85 points, Wasiu Anas from Community High School, Ayekale emerged second while Mutiu Mubarak from Ansar-ud-deen High School, emerged second runner-up.

The principal, Mr. Olayiwola from Ansar-ud-deen lauded Beulah Adeoye Foundation and stressed importance of foundation like Beulah Adeoye Foundation in promoting rich cultural heritage and needs to one’s root and appreciate it more.

Hon. Alhaji Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo expressed appreciation to Amofin Beulah Adeoye for his selfless contributions to education in Oke-Ogun region. Alhaji Salaudeen admonished the students to utilize the opportunity of the debate to ignite their academic pursuit. He described Amofin Beulah Adeoye as exemplary figure of humility and success.

In addition, in ATISBO Local Government Area, Olalekan Goodness from Progressive Secondary school, Tede emerged first with 95 points, Olasunkanmi Aishat from Muslim Secondary School, Tede came second with 87 points while Busari Suliyat from Basega Secondary School, Ago Are emerged second runner-up with 78 points.
