The Omituntun 3.0 Network has tipped
Hon. Adedeji Olajide, affectionately known as Odidiomo, representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, as the premier candidate for the Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming 2027 elections.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at the Omituntun 3.0 headquarters, Ibadan North where key members of the organisation outlined their reasons for supporting Odidiomo as the best choice for the party and the state.
The Omituntun 3.0 Network, a coalition of influential political stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers within the PDP, praised Odidiomo for exhibiting exemplary leadership qualities that resonate with the aspirations of Oyo State residents.
“Odidiomo embodies the values and vision that our party stands for. His commitment to transparency, accountability, and grassroots development makes him the ideal candidate to lead Oyo State into a prosperous future,” said a spokesperson for the group.
The group highlighted Odidiomo’s track record in the House of Representatives and his unwavering dedication to community development.
His previous initiatives aimed at improving education, healthcare, and infrastructure were cited as key factors that reinforce his candidacy.
“Odidiomo has consistently demonstrated a genuine desire to uplift the lives of our people. He understands the challenges we face and has the experience needed to address them effectively,” the spokesperson added.
Another significant aspect of Odidiomo’s appeal is his ability to unite various factions within the PDP and foster inclusiveness among party members.
The Omituntun 3.0 Network emphasised that a united front is essential for the party’s success in the 2027 elections, saying: “Odidiomo is not just a candidate; he is a bridge that connects different groups within our party. His leadership will ensure that every voice is heard and valued.”
Meanwhile, the Omituntun 3.0 Network also shared Odidiomo’s vision for Oyo State, which includes innovative policies aimed at economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development.
