A lawmaker in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olorunpoto Cephas Rahaman, representing Oyo East/Oyo West State Constituency, has taken a significant step to support his constituents during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a heartwarming gesture, he distributed essential food items to thousands of families in his constituents, ensuring that they can observe the fasting period with dignity and comfort.
The distribution event attracted a large crowd, with community members expressing their gratitude for the timely assistance.
Hon. Olorunpoto emphasised the importance of unity and support during Ramadan, stating, “This month is not just about fasting; it’s about sharing and caring for one another. As we come together in faith, we must also lift each other up, especially those in need.”
The food items, which included rice, beans, and cooking oil, were well-received, and many constituents praised the lawmaker for his dedication to their well-being.
