At 70, No Plans to Quit Oyo PDP But Don’t Rule Out Infection of Defections From Gatekeepers, Stakeholders – Oyo PDP Chieftain Writes
By Ismaila Ashipa
DEFECTIONS FROM THE PDP.

Politics is local.
National politics has little influence on state politics. More so, where we have a poster boy as a governor.
Here is called Oyo state not Delta. I have no reason whatsoever to quit the Oyo state PDP elsewhere.

However, I am not ruling out the infection of defection on some of the so called Oyo state PDP stakeholders and gatekeepers if the rumour mill is correct.
May I use this medium to sound a note of warning. At 70+, I am not expected to be in the opposition again; principle or no principle.
Given the fact that it is too early for any to correctly forecast where the pendulum could swing, I am convinced that with the Seyi 2.0, no party can stop 3.0.
Unlessssssssssss!!!
In case of ‘incasity’. May Allah protect the Oyo state PDP beyond 2027.
Ismaila Ashipa is a PDP Stalwart and political juggernaut, he writes from Ibadan North.
