The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated Chief Saka Adegbite Balogun on his appointment as the Balogun of Ogbomosoland by the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
In a congratulatory statement issued by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim he described the appointment of Dr. Saka Balogun by the Soun of Ogbomoso land as putting a round peg in a round hole considering his pedigree, experience and long years of service and achievement both in public and private capacity.
Arapaja recalled that during his appointment as the Chief of Staff to the erstwhile administration of late Adebayo Alao Akala, Chief Saka Balogun played prominent leadership roles and dedicated himself to the advancement of his homeland, Ogbomosoland and the entire Oyo state.
“Since I have known our father and leader, Dr. Balogun, he has always been using his position to drive the development in Ogbomosoland and Oyo state as a whole
His experience and influence has always been instrumental in efforts targeting at the betterment of our people and our great party, PDP.
He is blunt, courageous, accommodating and as a matter of fact, one of the consistent politicians we have around.
Therefore, I have no doubt in his ability to use his new position as Balogun of Ogbomoso land to further unite the people and bring great happiness and prosperity to all sons, daughters, and residents of Ogbomosoland.
I pray to God Almighty to grant our revered Chief Saka Balogun continued energy, health, wisdom and prosperity needed to discharge the onerous duties ahead of him in his new assignment. Congratulations once again Sir.” The statement added.
