    Cabinet Reshuffle: Wole Akinleye Hails Makinde, Congratulated Ashamu, Sangodoyin, Olayiwola, Mogbonjubola

    In response to the recent cabinet reshuffle by the Executive Governor of Oyo State,Engr Seyi Makinde, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has congratulated Akinyele LG Leader, Hon. Olusegun Emmanuel Olayiwola, Hon. Mojeed Mogbonjubola, Prof. Daud Sangodoyin, and Barr. Seun Ashamu on their latest appointments to key ministries.

    The reshuffle reflects the Governor’s renewed commitment to effective governance and service delivery across the state. Hon Akinwole Akinleye also believes the reshuffling will help to foster more collaboration between the ministries and Akinyele Local Government.

    According to the new ministerial assignments, Hon. Segun Olayiwola was reassigned from the Ministry of Establishment and Training to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Mojeed Mogbonjubola transitioned from the Ministry of Environment to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Prof. Daud Sangodoyin, formerly at Public Works and Transport, now leads the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources while Barr. Seun Ashamu has taken over the Ministry of Environment after an impactful tenure in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

    Hon. Akinwole Akinleye praised the commissioners for their consistent dedication to public service and track records of excellence. He highlighted their ability to adapt, innovate, and drive progress within any portfolio assigned to them. “These individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership and capacity in their previous roles, and I am confident they will bring the same energy, vision, and diligence to their new ministries,” he stated.

    Expressing optimism about the future, Hon. Akinwole encouraged residents of Oyo State to support the commissioners in their new positions.

    He reaffirmed his belief that their collective experience and commitment to service would accelerate the state’s development agenda and improve the quality of governance in their respective sectors.
