The Executive Chairman of the Oyo Housing Corporation, Hon. Demola Omotoso, has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his transformative impact on the housing sector in Oyo State over the past six years.
The PDP chieftain stated that the Pacesetter State is fortunate to have a “Phenomenal Governor who is doing Phenomenal Projects. ”
In an interview, Omotoso highlighted the governor’s commitment to providing affordable housing and improving living conditions for residents.
“Governor Makinde has truly revolutionized housing in Oyo State. His administration has prioritized the construction of modern housing units that cater to the needs of our citizens, ensuring that everyone has access to safe and affordable homes.”
According to him, Under Governor Makinde’s leadership, the Oyo Housing Corporation has embarked on numerous projects aimed at addressing the housing deficit in the state.
These initiatives, he said, include the development of new residential estates, the renovation of existing structures, and the implementation of policies to facilitate homeownership for low-income families.
“During this administration, several housing units have been constructed, providing shelter for thousands of families. This achievement is a testament to Governor Makinde’s vision and determination to uplift the standard of living in our state.”
“Moreover, the governor’s approach to housing has not only focused on quantity but also on quality, stressing the importance of sustainable building practices and community engagement in the planning process.”
“Each housing project is designed with the community’s needs in mind, ensuring that we create vibrant neighborhoods where families can thrive,” he explained.
“In addition to new developments, the administration has introduced various financing options to make homeownership more accessible. With initiatives such as the Oyo State Home Ownership Scheme, we are empowering citizens to invest in their futures. This innovative approach has made a significant difference in the lives of many residents,” Omotoso said.
