As Muslims worldwide celebrate the sacred festival of Eid-El-Kabir, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode Arole Omituntun has conveyed warm felicitations to the Muslim community and all Nigerians.


In a Sallah message, the council boss described the festival as a time for reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual rejuvenation.


Hon. Alawode emphasized that Eid-El-Kabir reminds us of the profound values of obedience, sacrifice, and trust in Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
Hon. Alawode encouraged Nigerians to use this festive period to foster unity across ethnic and religious divides, support the less privileged, and pray earnestly for the nation’s peace and prosperity.


“May this Sallah be a moment of healing, unity, and recommitment to our shared aspirations.The spirit of Eid calls on us to rise above our differences and work collectively toward a stronger, more united Nigeria,” he urged.
Arole Omituntun seized the period to appreciate the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for being an Exceptional Leader with profound achievements that have improved the lives of the good people of Oyo State for the past six years of his administration.


Hon. Alawode then reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to transparency, accountability, and the implementation of development-oriented policies for the growth and prosperity of Ibadan South East Local Government.
The council boss concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
