An Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Yerima Akinloye, has distributed cash gifts and food hampers to leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across Ibadan Northeast Local Government as part of his Christmas outreach.
The gesture, which took place in Ibadan Northeast Constituency II, saw PDP ward executives and party leaders received financial support and festive items to mark the Yuletide season.

According to details of the distribution, Hon. Akinloye donated N50,000 each to PDP ward executives from Ward 7 to Ward 12.
He also presented N100,000 to ward chairmen and members of the local government executive council, alongside hamper gifts to notable PDP leaders within the local government area, while promising to present ankara fabrics to hundreds of party members.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Akinloye described the gesture as a show of appreciation to party leaders for their commitment and sacrifices.
“This is my little way of saying thank you to our party leaders who have continued to work tirelessly to strengthen the PDP at the grassroots level. Christmas is a season of sharing, and I believe it is important to stand with our people at this time,” he said.
Akinloye added that his aspiration to represent Ibadan Northeast Constituency II at the Oyo State House of Assembly was driven by a desire to deliver people-oriented representation.
“My ambition is anchored on service. With the support and unity of our leaders and members, we can achieve meaningful development for our constituency,” he stated.
