The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has assured residents, staff, and stakeholders of his unwavering commitment to delivering people-centred governance and sustainable development in the new year.
In his New Year message to the people of the local government, Hon. Olufade described the new year as a season of renewed hope, collective responsibility, and fresh opportunities to deepen grassroots development across all wards in Ibadan North.
He expressed profound appreciation to residents and workers of the local government for their continued support, cooperation, and trust in his administration, noting that their encouragement has remained a strong motivation for effective leadership.
According to him, his administration will continue to pilot the affairs of Ibadan North with integrity, transparency, and compassion, while prioritising staff welfare, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, peace, and inclusive governance.
Hon. Olufade particularly commended the dedication and professionalism of the local government workforce, describing them as the backbone of effective governance, and pledged to sustain policies that promote capacity building, motivation, and recognition of excellence.
The council boss also assured residents that their voices and aspirations would remain central to policy formulation and implementation, stressing that unity, peace, and active civic participation are critical to achieving lasting development at the grassroots.
He expressed optimism that with God’s guidance and the collective efforts of stakeholders, Ibadan North Local Government would record greater progress and continue to serve as a model of responsive and accountable local governance.
Hon. Olufade concluded by wishing residents a peaceful, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year, while urging everyone to remain hopeful, united, and committed to the shared vision of a greater Ibadan North.
